Speech Practice
In addition to the topics we cover each week, the second half of every class is dedicated to speech practice, ensuring you have ample opportunities to speak in front of others. We believe that the key to mastering public speaking is consistent, real-world practice, which is why we focus on creating an environment where you can gradually build your confidence.
In weeks 3 and 4 of the course, you’ll deliver speeches based on topics set by your teacher. Our set speech topics are designed specifically to help you explore the key themes of our courses and are a vital part of the training. Your teacher will then provide individual feedback, offering insights that help you identify your strengths and areas for improvement.
Speaking in front of a group can feel daunting, but the more you practice, the more natural it becomes. By repeatedly standing up and delivering your thoughts, you’ll grow not just in skill, but in your ability to engage and connect with an audience. This hands-on approach ensures you receive practical experience, valuable feedback, and the opportunity to refine your speaking style, making the learning process both dynamic and impactful.

Testimonials
Gemma Requena
“I met Michael in a taster session years ago and that day something changed inside me…
I followed his courses but for different reasons couldn’t join them until I saw the opportunity of this Public Speaking course on Saturdays. I must confess, that have been 4 tough days of intense mixed feelings. Every day in class you are exposed, vulnerable, and terrified but surprisingly, a moment after you feel absolutely exultant, confident, and calm as you know you can do it, and you know you can do it better every day. Mike led us smoothly through the process of knowing our fears, our inner thoughts and feelings, building our confidence day by day to ultimately let us be ourselves in front of the audience, and it is only that authenticity what will make you a good speaker. Don’t miss this course!! Mike, THANK YOU!”

“A proper in depth look at the root cause of fear of public speaking. Mike deals with the fundamentals rather than learning tricks to disguise the fear. That's not to say he doesn't give you tips to help you through but once you have a better and deeper understanding of the issue, the quick win tips are less necessary. And then it was just a lot of FUN which I have never before said about public speaking. Thanks Mike”

“I attended Mike's taster session and in the first 5 minutes of listening to him, I was SOLD! His life philosophy and public speaking techniques are so authentic and playful, you just totally lose yourself in them. Having just finished the course, I can honestly assure that it was the best thing I did for myself this year. Worth every penny and more! We were vulnerable, passionate, authoritative, spontaneous and with each session, I found myself dropping my mask, becoming less self-conscious and most importantly – actually connecting with the audience (which has been difficult before). Mike's course is more than just a public speaking course, it's a form therapy - it helps you to find yourself, own yourself and become more honest and present with all your communications – be it with friends, acquittances or colleagues”
